Located near 't Kristallijn, our guesthouse, the Sibelco Experience Centre is situated at the heart of a reconstructed silica quarry (Mol) and an active silica quarry Blauwe Kei (Lommel), just 60km away from our Antwerp Headquarters, representing our company's place of birth. Celebrating the establishment of the Experience Centre in this symbolic location was truly fantastic, and we are proud to dedicate it to our purpose of 'Material solutions advancing life.'
In addition to captivating visuals, the centre features a timeline showcasing key milestones in the company's history and provides a digital demonstration of quarries and operational sites. Visitors can witness and experience how Sibelco's minerals and solutions are used in our society, playing an essential role in our everyday lives. The tour also covers the geological aspects of the area, the quarries, our operations, and the sustainability initiatives in the region.

The Sibelco Experience Centre is open to the public upon request. On July 27, 2023, the centre will be exclusively open for colleagues and neighbors. During the upcoming summer months, visitors can explore the centre on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 12 pm and 6 pm, as well as on Sunday afternoons from 1 pm to 5 pm. Don't forget to bring your bike to enjoy cycling in the area or take a nature walk around our reconstructed quarries.
