The Sibelco Spruce Pine Foundation will serve as a platform to galvanize broad based support and will be open to donations from all interested stakeholders.
As part of this initiative, Sibelco is pleased to announce further that it is making an immediate $1 million donation as seed money for the Sibelco Spruce Pine Foundation.
“We are committed to supporting the communities where we operate, and this donation reflects our dedication to the Spruce Pine area,” said Sibelco CEO Hilmar Rode. “Through the Sibelco Spruce Pine Foundation, we aim to ensure that our contributions have a lasting impact.”
The foundation will initially support the rebuilding needs of families and small businesses. In line with the long-term commitment required to fully recover from this disaster, the foundation will focus on improving physical and economic resilience.
